Treasuring & Stewarding the Night Season

Since the beginning of time every person from every culture on the face of the earth has engaged on the avenue called dreams.  A simple statement and fact: we spend over 1/3 of our lives dreaming with our spirit man alert to receive from the spiritual realms.   It is essential as we journey through our own individual callings in life that we treasure and give greater awareness to the living reality encompassing all around us that, “the heavens are declaring the glory of the Creator, day by day pouring forth speech & night by night revealing knowledge”.   Psalm 19:1

Like Jacob the patriarch of old in the ancient codebook of the bible who is honored in the “hall of faith” we need to do our part in positioning ourselves to hear from the Spirit in a place of peace.  In Genesis 28 Jacob came to a “certain place” for the night and laid a “stone” underneath his head and fell asleep.  Something special occurs when the human spirit is completely yielded to the Holy Spirit in rest.  The eyes of our hearts are opened and we see into the heavenly dimension, divine mysteries are unveiled and a land of limitless inheritance is opened to us.

So what is our role in partnering with what heaven is saying to us through our dreams and how can we be entrusted with more?

Looking throughout the scriptures we find that many of the biblical encounters that happened between the Creator and His creation were written down.  Whenever there was a major interaction between heaven and earth usually there was a memorial set up in the spirit realm.   Jacob gave us a clue by setting up a monument afterwards in the place he encountered who he sensed was God.   Later he remembered to go back to that place and re-engage his testimony in order to receive revelation once again.

Habakkuk 2:2

“Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets,That the one who reads it may run.”

Our culture celebrates the power of the testimony believing that the testimony of “Jah” is the spirit of prophecy.   This remains true for our dream lives with the Spirit.   When we write down and treasure our dreams we will be enabled to run and advance in our calling.   By writing down and cherishing every dream we are given we are showing the Creator that we value His code that is communicated to us.   As we build memorials of remembrance to heaven through keeping our dreams written down testimonies will be built of our individual faithfulness to the Spirit in heaven.

We learn of this principle in the “Parable of the Talents”.  If we want to be entrusted with greater riches in our dream lives we must steward what we have already been given.  As we do this our capacity to carry more will grow and grow based upon how faithful we are in the present.

May we continue to build memorials and remember the testimony of our encounters by writing them down so that angels may ascend and descend on our lives!
